Ayra Starr, a Mavin signee who was performing on the Afrochella Stage in Ghana when she fell flat on her back, was attempting to give her fans an exciting performance of Mavin's “Won Da Mo.”
Afrochella is a festival that aims to celebrate the varied cultures of Africa as well as the dynamic work produced by African artists and businesspeople; the “Afrofuturism” theme was utilized for the event that took place this year.
Yesterday, on December 29, 2022, while Starr was performing at this occasion, she fell while performing on stage.
Despite this, she got to her feet nearly instantly and carried on with the performance as if nothing had occurred.
The self-proclaimed celestial creature took to Twitter to share the agony of the experience, and he or she encouraged the organizers of the event to constantly wipe the stage after each act in order to prevent other painful and pointless falls.
“Afrochella next time y'all should clean your stage after every artist performance, that fall was really unnecessary and painful,” she tweeted, in response to a tweet that she had previously sent in which she expressed the hope that the video of her falling would never be seen by her crush.
